I have known Carol for many years. Her integrity and dedication to what is best for the community is always her top priority. Her years on the Richland City Council and state Transportation Board displayed her ability to work with all sides of the issues and cross over political lines. I supported her years ago in her bids for City Council and I continue to be a stanch supporter of Carol's even after moving out of the area. Best of luck Carol. You have my vote.....always!

I write this letter in support of Carol Moser’s candidacy for Representative of Washington State’s 8th District. That she has done so well in the primary election does not surprise me. I served with Carol on the State’s Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board. Currently she is a member of the Washington State Transportation Commission of which I am Chairman. This letter reflects my personal opinion only and not that of either agency. Both organizations focus on transportation challenges throughout the State.
It will come as no shock to your readers that much of the discussion and much of the attention of those agencies tends to gravitate toward the Puget Sound region because most of the State’s population is in that area. A perfect example was the Transportation Commission’s recent study and report on the State’s railroad system. Carol played a key role in the study. When early drafts overlooked or down played the impact of rail service on Eastern Washington interests such as agriculture, Carol vigorously and persistently brought our attention to the oversight. She was personally responsible for making certain the report gave adequate focus to Eastern Washington transportation requirements. She played the same role in the development of the Washington State Transportation Plan which the Commission issued in 2006. Beyond that her intimate knowledge of local government has helped the Commission immeasurably.
In short Carol has been an extremely strong and effective voice for Eastern Washington and for common sense. If she is elected, she will leave the Commission and I would be sorry to have that happen. However, the people in the Tri Cities will have obtained very effective and very knowledgeable representation in the State Legislature.

The First Time
I have always voted conservatively. I will be voting for Carol this year though. She is a true morale politician and a friend to everyone she encounters. I have worked with her in the past and know she is a tireless worker who won't give in to popular demand. With her education and leadership skills she has what it will take to be the voice the Mid Columbia needs. Carol gives 100% of her energy and time in all she does. This is the one candidate that we shouldn't overlook. This is the one candidate that will better life for all of us.

I have known Carol Moser since she was a student in my high school Chemistry class in the 70's. Even then, she showed leadership qualities and I expect she will continue to work with intelligence and good sense toward the betterment of our State and community. Carol has my whole hearted support for State Legislator.

It Stands To Reason
Doing the same thing the same way and expecting a different result is the ultimate insanity. That important truth applies to politics as well. Minority Republican legislators from this side of the Cascades complain that there isn't much they can do to influence the majority party's agenda in Olympia. Let's try somtehing different: Send a member of the majority party to Olympia. It stands to reason that the party in power would listen to, and be influenced by, the voices of its own members. That's why I'm voting for Carol Moser for state representative.

Crossing Party Lines to vote for Carol
I have pretty much voted 'Republican' all my adult life, in both state and Federal Campaigns. This was mostly due to my fiscal conservative philosophy which I thought aligned with the GOP -- don't spend what you don't have. It has become increasingly difficult to see the any differences between the major parties. Lots of talk, but not much 'walking the talk.'
Carol Moser is the type of candidate I can back. I have personally known Carol for many years. I appreciate all her strengths - above all -- her honesty in all her dealings. I also look up to her for asking constituents probing questions to determine what position to take on issues that make a difference to all our lives in her community. She did this when she was on City Council in Richland.
If there is a perfect Candidate for 8th District Representative, I believe it is Carol Moser. Carol is getting my vote!

Twelve years ago I was elected to the City Council of Warden WA. The next year I was elect to the Board of Directors for AWC (a governing body for all cities in the State of Washington). At this time I saw that the City of Richland was on top of all the lists for programs started and run. After doing my research I began to see who the true leader of this council was and the accomplishments that Carol Moser did for Richland.
Wanting to know about her and her leadership I was warmly surprised to see how she gave the benefit to others even though she was the force behind it. I have found a true leader who thinks of her fellow citizens without bring glory to herself yes a true public servant.
I am the past State Chair for the Hispanic Republicans of Washington State as well as Chairs for the Hispanic Republicans for the Tri-Cities and Grant County. No matter how you size up leadership it is only they who have the courage to stand up and do what is right and lead. That is why I am throwing my support behind the best PERSON to lead us here for the 8th District Rep. in the Tri-Cities, Carol Moser. This is not a time to play politics but a time to come together and do what is best for our community, children, and family.

We write this today, in the hope that others will recognize in Carol Moser the things that we know about her. Carol is the person for whom we will be casting our vote, for 8th Legislative District Representative, Position 1. Carol Moser's experience is vast and proven. Carol will hold the best interests of the people of the 8th District when making decisions that will effect us, just as she has shown in her thoughtful and thorough approach to issues concerning the citizens of Richland.
As councilwoman, Carol took on many tasks that benefitted the area such as helping to bring federal and state dollars to the additional lanes on the SR240 Causeway, Richland's Soundwall, and I-182, always with confident leadership and knowledgable decision making skills. Carol's undeniable record of public service and comittment to community is what the 8th LD needs in Olympia. Most recently Carol has been asked to serve on the Climate Action Team, and will be making sure that the recommendations coming from the Transportation Working Group accurately reflect the concerns and ideas of Benton County, and will not be a rubberstamp for the Puget Sound agenda.
When asking yourself what qualities you want in the person representing you, I hope that the answer would be the following: Effective Leadership, Proven Experience, Knowledgable and reasoned decision making skills, these qualities and more are exactly what Carol Moser will take with her to Olympia. Please join us in electing Carol Moser as the 8th LD Representative, Position 1.

It is my pleasure to recommend Carol Moser as our Representative for District 8. Carol is an enthusiastic, hard working, compassionate campaigner who has a well-established record for making our community and region a better place to live for all of its citizens.
Ms. Moser has been instrumental in guiding, planning, and acting on community-based initiatives that required bringing together federal, state, municipal, community and neighborhood entities to accomplish one goal. She has been there; she knows how to get the job done.
Character is most recognizable when it comes to a job that needs to be done and hard work is the only way to get it done. Carol Moser has been a model of the hard work ethic whether it is building trails, pulling bureaucratic teeth or leading others in the right direction to make this a better place to live.
As a near native son and life long activist in our community I am excited and honored to have the privilege to offer my recommendation for Carol Moser as our District 8 Representative. I am convinced that her leadership in Olympia will make a positive difference for our community.

I have known Carol since the Moser Family moved here in the early nineties, and I have always seen someone that is interested in helping her community. Her involvement started in her neighborhood and has continued onward every since. Carol is a extremely caring, thoughtful, and a genuine person, who is always headed in the direction of doing what is right for our community. She has gained the experience that will give her the ability, to move on to her next goal of being our 8th LD Rep. I'm extremely honored to be able to say that I fully endorse Carol's effort to be our next State Representative from the 8th LD Pos.1

Carol Moser has always demonstrated a passion and an interest in the entire Tri-Cities and has been a dedicated advocate for all of us while serving on the Richland City Council and State Transportation Commission. Carol is the type of person we need in the State Legislature because she is persistent, knowledgeable, and results-oriented.

We can count on Carol to consider all the needs of all the people in our district and then take reasoned positions that are in our collective best interest. She's smart, dedicated, experienced, and knowledgeable. In this time of polarized and contentious political theater, we need Carol's bridge-building leadership style to move us forward. Thanks, Carol.

As a woman, Carol Moser brings a greater depth of understanding to many 8th District issues than either of the current male legislative incumbants or her likely opponents. As a Democrat, she will have better access to the state resources neccessary to address those important issues. Carol brings a proven background of experience, leadership and past public service to this race and would provide balance and greater representation for the 8th District.

The thought of Carol Moser in Olympia gives me great hope! Carol wants the best for our community – regardless of party politics. She wants our communities to be great places to live, to work, to raise our children and our grandchildren.
As a member of the pastoral staff at Carol’s church, I have had the pleasure of working closing with her on many occasions. Carol’s work with youth is inspiring. She cares for them and seeks to nurture their own leadership capacities. She is innovative, not always working within “the box” but striving to find new ways to reach youth and bring out their best. Additionally, she takes seriously her work within any team she is a part of, keeping it on task, stretching our sense of the responsibility before us, and working through difficulties to get to the best solution for all. Carol is a valued asset within our congregation. I am excited to share her with the entire state as our legislator!

About three years ago, I had the honor of working with Carol on various large projects. From the first day of meeting Carol I was extremely impressed with not only her work ethic, but her as a person. Carol has a unique ability to relate to people from all walks of life. Time and time again, I witnessed Carol take on challenges from conception to completion routinely tackling obstacles others migrated away from.
Along with Carol's impressive political career with the Richland City Council, her dedication to her family is inspiring. The sacrifices she has made for her family are undeniable and it is this altruistic nature that makes her the great leader, role model, mother, wife, and sister that she is.
I have no doubt that Carol Moser, a true innovator, is exactly who we need as our 8th District Representative.

Since I became Chair of the local Democratic Party in 07, I've tried to focus my efforts on getting Democrats to raise their hand and run for public office, whether for school boards, commissions, fire and water districts or city councils. And with this effort, I've stressed the importance and value of past public service and volunteerism in developing the skills necessary for an effective candidacy and in demonstrating one's commitment to serving the public.
Carol Moser, is a classic example of such a background. Her many years as an effective council member in municipal government and her service on the Washington State Transportation Commission have undoubtedly equipped her with the skills and experience necessary to be an effective public servant. With her many years as a public servant in both positions and her volunteer history prior to elected office, reflect her sustained commitment to sharing her knowledge and experience in doing the will of the public.
When measuring a candidate, such qualities along with Carol's community and family-grounded priorities can only lead me to say that she is my candidate for Position 1, 8th LD. And I ask you to join me in supporting her candidacy in any way you can.
